As the first post-Afghanistan AUSA conference gets underway, the shift from CT to great-power competition is evident on the convention floor.
This is the first AUSA conference in 20 years that hasn't been at least partially focused on Afghanistan, and it shows, reports Global Business Editor Marcus Weisgerber. Instead of gear to disarm roadside bombs, the Washington Convention Center floors are filled with long-range weapons of the sort that might be needed in a Pacific conflict.
