Navy warfare center lands C4ISR support
QinetiQ’s Systems Engineering Group will assist the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego’s command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance programs through the $206 million contract.
QinetiQ North America will provide life-cycle support services to the Navy under an eight-year, $206 million contract.
Under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity award, QinetiQ’s Systems Engineering Group will assist the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego’s command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs.
The contractor will provide logistics planning, post-development assembly and testing, worldwide system maintenance, development of user documentation and training courses. QinetiQ will also deliver training to users and maintainers, 24/7 help desk support, installation and fielding of systems at user sites, and various other technical, operational and administrative support services. All work will be performed in Philadelphia.
The Spawar Center in San Diego focuses on the acquisition and support of military-related C4ISR systems. Its procurement spans the full life-cycle spectrum, from concept development to end-of-life support of associated systems and equipment.
