Air Force hires DRC for logistics data work

Dynamics Research Corp. will help the Air Force manage its logistics data under a five-year, $12.9 million contract.
The award calls for DRC to continue supporting the Air Force Global Logistics Support Center, part of the Air Force Materiel Command at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The contract will extend DRC’s support services, which identify and eradicate faulty data anomalies in the data quality system.
DRC will determine the extent of interface and system data quality problems, identify discrepancies, initiate corrections, and provide visibility of data. The company also will maintain Web applications, which assist in the tracking, scanning and organizing of data to identify anomalies in the system and correct them. In addition, the contractor will support the functional operations of those systems.
Dynamics Research Corp., of Andover, Mass., provides mission-critical technology management services and solutions for federal and state government programs.
