Army intelligence systems support work extended

CACI International Inc. will continue supporting Army intelligence mission systems under a five-year contract that has a ceiling of $452 million.

The Genesis III prime contract calls for CACI to continue providing comprehensive engineering and logistics support for ground- and air-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems at locations worldwide.

The company will also provide ISR facility engineering and maintenance support, including relocating and closing sites when required, and supporting environmental assessments.

The contractor’s role is to ensure that systems for electronic warfare, security, quick reaction capability and prototyping are developed, deployed, repaired and maintained at the highest state of readiness, CACI officials said.

The award significantly increases the size and scope of CACI’s business with the Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) and strengthens the company’s functional core competency in command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR). The company offers INSCOM quick reaction capability to meet rapid turnaround requirements, the officials added.

The Genesis III contract has a one-year base and four option years.
