Marine Corps awards CINS task order
The Marine Corps Systems Command has awarded L-3 Communications Corp. a task order to provide a wide range of support services for communications, intelligence and networking systems.
The Marine Corps Systems Command has awarded L-3 Communications Corp. a $27 million task order to provide a wide range of support services for communications, intelligence and networking systems (CINS).
Under the contract, L-3 Services Group will provide support for acquisition, financial, logistics, field and training, and managerial efforts associated with the command’s CINS operations, the Defense Department announced Feb. 9.
The command oversees and coordinates research, development, acquisition and life cycle management for all the Marine Corps’ CINS programs.
The company will perform the work, which is scheduled to be completed in February 2010, in Stafford, Va.
