Air Force office selects TCS for security enhancement
The Air Force has awarded Trusted Computer Solutions Inc. a $2.1 million contract to furnish products and services to support its Cryptologic Systems Group at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
The Air Force has awarded Trusted Computer Solutions Inc. a $2.1 million contract to furnish products and services to support its Cryptologic Systems Group at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
Under the contract, TCS, of Herndon, Va., will assist the Cryptologic Systems Group in establishing the framework and processes to support information security initiatives for the agencies that it serves, company officials said today. The company also will create a lab in which to test and refine security technologies and also help facilitate collaboration among users.
In the course of its work, TCS will install its SecureOffice Trusted Gateway software product and related technologies to control the transfer of sensitive and classified information among various networks, the officials said. Trusted Gateway is designed to facilitate data transfer among security levels such as unclassified, secret, secret releasable, top secret, and compartmental information networks.
TCS Professional Services Team will help the Cryptologic Systems Group install the product and move it through the certification and accreditation process.
