Retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg joins Cubic

Cubic Corp. has hired former Army Lt. Gen. Joseph “Keith” Kellogg to be senior vice president for ground combat programs.

Kellogg, who will work for the company’s Defense Applications unit, will be responsible for Cubic’s ground combat training business, company officials said. In that capacity, he will work on expanding the company’s global customer base and helping the company extend into adjacent tactical markets, the officials said.

While in the military, Kellogg was director of command, control, communications and computer systems at the Defense Department and principal adviser to the Joint Chiefs of Staff on matters relating to command and control. He also held various other assignments at DOD, including assistant Army chief of staff for operations, commanding general of the 82nd Airborne Division, and chief of combat development at the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command.

After retiring from the military, Kellogg held executive posts at CACI International Inc. and Oracle Corp.

Cubic offers a wide array of training and simulation equipment and services, such as combat training centers, tactical engagement simulation equipment, virtual small arms trainers, and weapon and urban warfare simulations. Kellogg will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s ground combat training products meet the highest performance standards, company officials said.
