6 secure wireless technologies developed for military

Fortress Technologies will be announcing six new mobile secure wireless communications products for vehicle and soldier networks at LandWarNet.

These products meet the government’s demand for secure man-wearable, vehicle-specific and mesh-networking capabilities. The radio products deliver secure wireless communications for vehicle and dismounted soldier networks, enhance the resiliency and effective range of tactical mesh networks, and meet the need for 4.4 GHz licensed spectrum solutions.

Releases are scheduled as follows:

• Wednesday, Aug. 19, 9:30 a.m. – Man-wearable tactical mesh point and mesh viewer solution.
• Wednesday, Aug. 19, 11:30 a.m. – Vehicle-based mesh point and mobile ad hoc network (MANET) solution.
• Thursday, Aug. 20, 9:45 a.m. – Infrastructure mesh point and 4.4 GHz solution.
