Army CIO to receive C4ISR support
Science Applications International Corp. will furnish technical and management support services to the Army’s Chief Information Officer under a newly awarded contract.
Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) will furnish technical and management support services to the Army’s chief information officer under a contract potentially worth $55 million over three years.
Under the contract, SAIC will provide a wide array of services to support the Army CIO in technical areas such as information technology, enterprise architecture and portfolio management, company officials said Aug. 6. The company also will furnish support for command and control functions, communications systems, and strategic and operational capabilities, the officials said.
The company’s partner on the project is SNVC, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business.
In related news, SAIC announced in late July that it had won a five-year, $196 million contract with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic to support Defense Department command and control systems.
