Navy Sealift Fleet Support Command to receive HR support
USGC Inc. will provide human resources support services to the Navy Military Sealift Fleet Support Command under a contract worth up to $22 million.
USGC Inc. will provide human resources support services to the Navy Military Sealift Fleet Support Command under a contract worth up to $22 million over four years, company officials have announced.
American Systems Corp., of Chantilly, Va., and Dynamics Research Corp., of Andover, Mass., are on USGC’s team to provide human resources solutions and support. USGC is based in Annapolis, Md.
USGC will support the command's locations in Norfolk, Va.; Freehold, N.J., and San Diego. The company also will operate the Civilian Mariner Support Center from a USGC facility in Norfolk, Va.
Under the contract, USGC will support the Navy in maintaining total force and human resources readiness. The company also will prepare an afloat workforce that ensures that the proper people with the proper skills are available when and where they are needed, USGC officials said.
