Naval Academy brings additional IT support on board
The U.S. Naval Academy will receive additional information technology support from Sabre Systems Inc. under a new three-year, $3.6 million contract.
The U.S. Naval Academy will pipe aboard additional information technology support from Sabre Systems Inc. under a new three-year, $3.6 million contract.
Sabre will continue to provide IT services to the academy’s Information Technology Services Division and more than 7,000 end users at the academy and throughout the United States, company officials said in a statement.
The Warminster, Pa., professional services company will provide a wide range of technical services that include desktop support, software and hardware technicians, LAN supervisors and computer systems specialists, the officials said.
Sabre has been supporting the Annapolis, Md., institution for approximately 10 years, according to the statement.
Founded in 1989, Sabre Systems has clients in federal civilian agencies and the Defense Department. The company has offices in California, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey and Alexandria, Va.
