DOD C4ISR programs to get boost

CACI International Inc. will provide a range of technology support services to the Defense Department under a two-year, $24 million task order.
The award calls for the contractor to provide engineering, logistics, business and program support services for C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) programs under the auspices of the Force Modernization Division of the DOD’s Directorate for Readiness, Logistics Readiness Center, Communications-Electronics Lifecycle Management Command at Fort Monmouth, N.J.
The turnkey solutions are designed to support a diverse array of DOD customers with a number of initiatives.
The solutions include identification and resolution of ground domain networking issues that affect Joint Tactical Radio Systems; Warfighter Information Network-Tactical; Future Combat Systems network programs; planning for the Army’s force modernization; software development; and developing processes and strategies for aging cryptographic equipment.
The contract, awarded under the Army’s Strategic Services Sourcing contract vehicle, has one base year and one option year.
CACI has been supporting these clients for nine years, a company announcement said.
