Avaya Government Solutions has won a recompete contract from the Air Force valued at approximately $64 million to provide information assurance, network assessment and network engineering support.
The five-year contract relates to the Air Force’s Scope Enterprise Design Guidance and Evaluation Project, known as Scope EDGE, which helps ensure the continued security and operation of Air Force network resources around the world, according to a company announcement dated May 11.
Avaya Government Solutions, a division of Avaya Inc.,will provide network performance tuning, network compliance assessment, data gathering and other IT services.
The company also will be responsible for providing network compliance and optimization services, as well as quick response maintenance to Air Force network control centers, operations and security centers, and major command communications coordination centers throughout the continental United States and abroad, the statement said.
