Navy picks provider for software and program support

Under a $5 million contract, Stanley will continue furnishing the Department of the Navy with software development, integration testing and user training for a software suite that provides a communications method for special forces, company officials said.
The software suite, known as MoVer, serves as a radio e-mail platform that allows users to send and receive e-mail messages via radio systems transmissions in a secure manner. MoVer also is designed to manage an entire network of radio systems from a central location.
Under a $6 million contract, Stanley will deliver engineering, technical and program management services for life cycle engineering projects conducted by the Logistics Special Projects Office of the Naval Sea Logistics Center.
Stanley will support logistics readiness reviews and assessments, configuration management, personnel and training analyses, supply support, maintenance planning, facility requirements analysis, documentation support, and associated efforts.
The work will be done in various locations, including Washington, D.C.; Baltimore, Md.; Norfolk, Va.; and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
