Marines award command and control support contract
The Marine Corps has awarded a contract to QinetiQ North America for engineering assistance with command and control systems.
The Marine Corps has awarded a three-year, $7.4 million task order to QinetiQ North America to provide engineering and scientific support services.
Specifically, the award calls for QinetiQ NA to assist the program management office for the Marine Air-Ground Task Force's command and control systems and the Digital Fires and Situational Awareness program management office of Product Group 11.
Under the task order, QinetiQ North America will provide a broad range of engineering, acquisition, logistics, and programmatic support services across nearly all ground combat element and Marine Air-Ground Task Force command and control programs.
Work under the new task order, which was awarded under the Marine Corps Systems Command's Commercial Enterprise Omnibus Support Services blanket purchase agreement, will take place in Quantico and Stafford, Va., with completion of the base tasks scheduled for December.
