The Air Force wants a contractor to sustain and refine its information operations and SharePoint collaborative environments, according to a Jan. 4 procurement announcement.
In its sources-sought notice, the Air Force is seeking a contractor that can work closely with government customers to leverage the IO Compass and IO 360° capabilities.
The contractor will furnish technical support for the day-to-day operation of the IO Compass on the Internet and IO 360° on the Defense Department's secure and nonsecure networks and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System. In addition, the contractor will provide help desk and system administration services, including support for SharePoint.
IO Compass is facilitated by the IO Technology Alliance (IOTA), a Defense Department-sponsored initiative linking IO capability and technology providers to the warfighter. IO 360° is a collaborative workspace for participating users based on Microsoft's SharePoint. IO Compass and IO 360° were developed as an alternative to the retired IO Technology Repository system.
Responses are due Jan. 22.
