The Special Operations Command has awarded iGov Technologies a $500 million, single-award contract to furnish the Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) Family of Systems for special operators, the Defense Department said Feb. 4
Under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, the Reston, Va.-based provider of tactical IT network systems will design, integrate, produce and deliver the net-centric technology to the U.S. Special Operations Command.
The company will perform the work in Tampa, Fla.
