DISA announces date of 2013 Forecast to Industry

The Defense Information Systems Agency 2013 Forecast to Industry will be held at the DISA Headquarters Conference Center at Ft. Meade, MD, on Friday, Aug. 9, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The original event was scheduled for August as part of a larger AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International) conference and tradeshow, but was canceled due to budget considerations. DISA officials said at the time that they would reschedule the Forecast to Industry day.

DISA's senior leadership will present briefings to address tactical acquisition issues, requirements and planned procurements for the 2013/2014 fiscal years. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with senior leaders, program managers, and acquisition representatives during question and answer sessions and on an individual basis.

DISA notes that due to limited seating, attendance will be held to two representatives per company. Information and registration for this event will be announced via DISA.mil.
