SPAWAR Charleston taps 15 companies for $900 million in C5ISR services

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, SC, awarded 15 companies contracts for “decision superiority” services—including interoperable command, control, communication, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems—that could potentially be worth about $900 million.

The companies are: Booz Allen Hamilton Engineering Services, Annapolis, MD; Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., McLean, VA; CACI Federal, Chantilly, VA; Centurum Information Technology, Marlton, NJ; Computer Sciences Corp., Falls Church, VA; Glotech, Rockville, MD; Honeywell Technology Solutions, Columbia, MD; Engility, Mount Laurel, NJ; Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions, Herndon, VA; M.C. Dean, Dulles, VA; QinetiQ North America, Services and Solutions Group, Fairfax, VA; Science Applications International Corp., McLean, VA; Sotera Defense Solutions, Virginia Beach, VA; Scientific Research Corp., Atlanta, GA; and ManTech Systems Engineering Corp., Fairfax, VA.

Each company was awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based multiple award contract with provisions for fixed-price-incentive (firm target) and firm-fixed-price task orders.

The contracts are for the procurement of decision superiority support services including the entire spectrum of non-inherently governmental services and solutions (equipment and services) associated with the full system lifecycle support, including research, development, test, evaluation, production and fielding of sustainable, secure, survivable, and interoperable C5ISR systems, information operations, enterprise information services and space capabilities.

The cumulative, estimated ceiling value of the base year is $179,957,600. These contracts include options that if exercised would bring the cumulative ceiling value of these contracts to an estimated $899,788,000.

Work is expected to be completed by March 2014. If all options are exercised, work could continue until March 2018.
