Honeywell awarded $550M for Air Force satellite support
Air Force Satellite Control network operates a slew of DOD and non-DOD satellites.
Honeywell Technology Solutions has been awarded a $550.4 million contract modification to support the Air Force Satellite Control Network, reported Washington Technology, a Defense Systems sister publication.
The Air Force Satellite Control network operates and maintains a number of Defense Department and non-Defense Department satellites. Honeywell will provide system and maintenance engineering, network support integration, on- and off-site depot level maintenance, and software maintenance to the Air Force.
Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 20, 2016.
