Air Force names 12 winners of NetCent-2 awards
Companies are eligible for individual awards under the $5.8 billion contract.
The Air Force has awarded 12 companies a spot on the $5.8 billion Network-Centric Solutions-2 System (NetCents-2) contract for computer network operations and infrastructure. The award was the result of a small-business competition in which 29 offers were received through the Federal Business Opportunities website.
The companies are:
- Centech Group Inc.
- Epsilon Systems Solutions Inc.
- Smartronix Inc.
- SMS Data Products Group Inc.
- Indus Corp.
- Technica Corp.
- Telos Corp.
- Sumaria Systems Inc.
- BTAS Inc.
- American Systems Corp
- STG, Inc.
- MicroTechnologies LLC
These companies will be eligible to win individual orders under NetCents-2 – the Air Force’s primary source of netcentric and IT products, services and solutions according to the Air Force.
NetCents-2 is a family of contracts with a ceiling of $24.2 billion and is aimed at supporting communications, information services, solutions and products. The contracts provide solutions for network-centric IT, networking, telephony and security, voice, video and data communications, combat support services, command and control, and intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance.
The use of NetCents-2 contracts is mandatory for Air Force organizations and is also available for Army, Navy, and other Defense Department and federal agencies.
The contract has four 12-month options and runs for three years – each company will receive a minimum guarantee of $2,500 at award.
