Army awards $1B for intelligence and info warfare support
Four companies are named to the nearly $1 billion contract to support the directorate that develops ISR, cyber and electronic warfare capabilities.
The Army has awarded a contract worth nearly $1 billion to four companies for support of the directorate that develops a lot of the service’s ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), cyber and electronic warfare capabilities.
The roughly three-year deal is a $994.7 million cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery multiple award task order contract for support of the Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate, which is part of the Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC).
The directorate is the Army’s hub for research and development in advanced cyber operations, electronic warfare, signals intelligence, radar, and intelligence analysis, exploitation and dissemination.
The companies named to the contract—the only four who bid on it—are:
- Adams Communication & Engineering Technology
- DHPC Technologies Inc.
- Eoir Technologies
- Praxis Engineering Technologies
The companies will compete for task orders, with work under the contract expected to be completed May 7, 2018.
