In normal times, satellite imagery might make the headlines every so often, perhaps when a team of independent analysts spots evidence of some North Korean nuclear advancement. But Russia's invasion of Ukraine has brought geospatial products into the daily conversation, whether tracking huge convoys or revealing the extent of Russian attacks on civilian neighborhoods.
