Col. Michael Rauhut
Colonel Michael Rauhut, U.S. Army, is a military fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. An Army infantry officer, he served most recently as Assistant Chief of Staff to the International Security Assistance Force in Kabul, Afghanistan. He has also commanded an advanced infantry training brigade in Fort Benning, Georgia and a combined arms battalion in the Republic of Korea. Colonel Rauhut is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, the Naval Postgraduate School, and the Naval War College.
