Greg Govan
Greg Govan is a retired U.S. Army brigadier general, US Army Foreign Area and Intelligence Officer, was the 19th Chief of the U.S. Military Liaison Mission to the Commander-in-Chief, Group of Soviet Forces in Germany. He previously served 1979-1984 with USMLM, then as an Assistant Army Attaché in Moscow. As a General Officer, Greg was the U.S. Defense Attaché in Moscow, twice; and the 3rd Director of the On-Site-Inspection Agency. As a Senior Foreign Service Officer, appointed and confirmed as an ambassador, Greg had arms control treaty responsibilities in Vienna, Austria; and as a Senior Intelligence Officer with the Intelligence Community Staff in Washington DC. He retired in 2005 with 40 years of federal service.
